Claudette Braxton

The President of the Willow Run Board of Education has failed our schools and community! Recall Braxton for not safeguarding Willow Run's best interests:  Our students, staff and schools.  She has turned a deaf ear to the community.  Her agenda is to allow Superintendent Doris Hope-Jackson to lead irresponsibly and like a bully.  Mrs.  Braxton is not connected with the staff, students and parents of today's Willow Run.  Lets send her a message that she can not censor or ignore: RECALL CLAUDETTE BRAXTON and Save Our Schools!

Braxton a no-show at her own recall hearing! The Recall of Braxton, Smith and Blakita is APPROVED.

Claudette Braxton - Ineffective Board President

   - Liar, liar, pants on fire! You knew about the Community's Town Hall Meeting, but lied in the newspaper and did not come just to save face. Your name will be mud Claudette because you are an irresponsible public official.

   - Braxton, you are co-signing the destruction of Willow Run by allowing the re-assignment of WR teachers!

   - When will you listen to parents? This ol' news still haunts us today!

   - The mass exodus in WR is yours and Jackson's blame

   - Why is CB the object of recent recall attempts?  Hmmm.

   - CB had blinders on with Benit. Will she fail to "see" again with Jackson? Time will tell.

   - BOE prez has no real leadership or community trust

   - CB blows it again...setting us up for failure

   - "No comment..." Yep, it figures.

  • Approved a contract extension and salary increase for Superintendent Doris Hope-Jackson.
  • Approved a budget that included the assumption of an enrollment increase of 170 new students.
  • Censorship of citizens' comments.
  • Supported at least 56 staff reassignments that were the result of at least 72 resignations, layoofs and retirements.
  • Supported inflammatory comments by board member Andreas Blakita.
  • Failure to address community concers, thereby showing unresponsiveness to district personnel, parents and students, prompting employees and students to leave the district.
  • Spent $65,000 for commercial advertisement for the district.
