Andreas BlakitaAndreas Blakita

This Trustee of the Willow Run Board of Education has failed our schools and community! Recall Blakita for not safeguarding Willow Run's best interests:  Our students, staff and schools.  Like Trustee Smith, Andy Blakita has been on the school board since the 1980's. An avid athletics supporter, Mr. Blakita has put in many years of service to Willow Run.  However, he has made some ignorant, racist and inflammatory comments and has done deeds that have served to further divide the board of education from the public which elected them.  Mr. Blakita has voted for motions that make no sense.  He has disrespected citizens publicly and has supported a superintendent who has made a mockery of teachers, staff and parents.  Andy, it is time you recognized that 'times in Willow Run' have changed.  We urge the great citizens of Willow Run to recall Blakita because he is out of touch and disconnected with the stakeholders of Willow Run.

Blakita was the only BOE member to show up at the recall hearing which approved the recall of Braxton, Smith and Blakita.

Andy Blakita - Ineffective Trustee

   - "Damn, Hell and 1985," tells us it's time for you to move on and find another "passion"

   - Are you tired of forcing the circle to fit the square? Teamwork? How 'bout, "move on"

   - A little history repeating itself???

   - So you say WR is a business? That teachers come, teachers go? YOU are directly responsible for the BAD business in WR Andy.

   - For subjecting the public to your diarrhea of the mouth at every board meeting. Shut up you make no sense!
